I think the initial attraction we get towards people is due to the first (good) impression that people work hard to create (friends and romantic connections). After we have known them for a period of time their faults become apparent (as does everybody's) - it is all part of human nature. Friends and partners remain so because you accept their faults if you genuinely like/love someone. If the depth of feeling isn't there then you lose contact/split because you can not tolerate their faults.

We all like to think the best of people, and in the beginnig they betray themselves the way they think you want them to be. Not all people are like that, some a fair dinkum. But these other ones are decietful, that is the only word for it. Try using your instincts, stand back for a while and watch, their true colours will come through. But in saying that a lot of people have trouble making friends so they pretend to be someone they are not, but the pretense can't go on forever.

The thing is we meet people and always put our good side on be it a man or woman.
We, after time let it slip down through being more compatible with that person and sometimes it not that nice what you meet.
But out there is the one or two genuine people that are face value, and you have just got to chance it.

Pamela. You're absolutely right! But, after all, even the most angelic of us have a dark side!
I guess the secret to a successful relationship, therefore, is to ensure your own darkside is more sophisticated enough to outwit your partner's!
As long as you can keep them on the back foot - keep them guessing and rewarding them once in a while for good behaviour - then the world's your oyster!

Yes.Everyone seems to make that special effort in the beginning but no one can keep up a facade so their front slips a bit and their true self shines through in the end and it aint always pretty !

that's because of the fact they save doing the comparable promos and basically attempt and placed across lower back previous storylines quite of springing up new ones. occasion, how they're merchandising the recent DX military t-shirts and their front at summerslam. what's the imaginitive team PAYED TO DO? that's ridiculous all they do is deliver lower back previous storylines only in lamer vogue. In result it makes DX seem lamer too. thank you for pointing that out.

I think it's human nature for people to assume that when they see some good characteristics in someone, they are good people as a whole. People also try to make that good "first impression".

Nobody is perfect, familiarity breeds contempt etc etc.
We all just human with human faults.
I'm sure people look at you and pick holes in your character.
Looking past peoples peculiarities is a true gift.

Yeah, but it's only natural since everyone has faults and you don't see them at first. My girlfriend has surprised me with some of hers, but the good stuff far outweighs the bad!!

people are generally on their best behaviour for that honeymoon period. some are also less perceptive to minute signs of negative personality traits due to the initial 'euphoria affect'
