wow i learned something today.
I always thought that the V in german was pronounced like the W and vice versa like "Wolksvagen"
but hey i'm glad I looked at this.
haha my middle name's Verneen

In german the letter "v" is pronounced like an "f" and the letter "w" is pronounced in german as a "v" so it will look/sound in english spoken correctly like this ( Folksvagen). Which in german means " the people's car" .......3 years of german class way back in highschool. I hope this helps.

finally someone got it right. the german W is pronounced as an english V so its not folks wagon as the last guy said it pronounced folksvagen(folks-var-gen).
