I say tracking sexual predators ( people who pray on children or rapist) should be tracked, But not sex offenders. People need to learn the difference between a sex offender and a predator.
Most offenders have stupid offenses like being 18 and having a consensual sex with a person over the age of 14. Most offenders (not all) are not a threat to society.
GPS is also too controlling and a violation of privacy, but predators should not have any privacy!

Pedophiles shouldn't even be alive to worry about but we have to many humanitarians that believe they should still have all their teeth to eat taxpayers food in a cozy warm prison.I think the GPS is a good idea. But by the same token,we can eventually have a crack pot that wants to bend the rules of law and use it for other purposes...,its a catch 22,but I still think we should use it for sex offenders and definitely on pedophiles.

Another step.
When it is all for the children makes me wonder what is next.
So we accept GPS for sex offenders.
In the current climate we start with GPS for Muslim terrorist
What is next GPS for someone who is not PC

It is a slipperly slope.
Once the government takes something most of the time they don't give it back.

I think death should be enlisted if the offense ends in the death of someone else. GPS sounds like it could work unless they keep doing it. Then execute them. I don't believe this is the apocalypse though.

Why not track drunk drivers?

I looked at my state's sex offender list. Most of them were under the age of 18 when they were accused of having sex with someone under the age of 18. I can't agree with making life long discrimination against sexually active high school kids.

Already track them with the ankle bracelets, that set off alarms when they leave their home. Some have managed to slip out of them and bypass the tamper alarm.
Leave them in prison. Can't excute them, too many bleeding hearts think these monsters can be saved.
