Absolutely! That way you will not be disappointed...let's face it, if you HAVE to remind him of the other holidays. there's a good chance you will have to do the same for Valentin's Day!!

How can you not remind him of Christmas and New Year's? Practically EVERYBODY celebrates the two of those! I can MAYBE see forgetting your birthday. Sorry about that! What you should do, this is coming from a guy's point of view, is remind him every day or so. When it starts to get closer, you can start reminding him a little more. Maybe say, "Gosh, it's the 11th already? Almost Valentine's Day!" Good luck with that!

Hell No!!! Any man who has a girlfriend or a wife should ALWAYS remember at least a few days out of the year but the two most heinous days to forget if a man is in a relationship are Valentine's Day and the woman's Birthday. If you forget EVERYTHING else, DON'T DARE FORGET THESE TWO DAYS!!!!

Everything else could be a "formality" in a sense but these two days of the year symbolize how much (or little) you think of your mate. If you forget Valentine's day...you obviously don't value the fact that you are together with her. If you forget her birthday, then you don't care enough about her to remember the important "details" of her life.

Don't remind him...let him figure it out. If he forgets...sounds to me like you better get rid of him before you find yourself as a barmaid to a "wife-beater" clad behemoth who sits in a recliner all day saying, "Honey, bring me another beer....!!!"
If he forgets Valentine's day, he's not the man you should be dating because the details are not important to him.

Yikes.... it will be strange if he forget about Christmas and New Year... which rock he had been hide under??.....

I think you can try to give him a hint about Valentine's Day... if nothing works... then remind him..... show your love... give him Valentine card.....

I don't blame you by saying he's not romantic.... but a man who seems forget about special day ???.... that's is uncool.... seriously

Personally I think its time for a new boyfriend....Do you really want a BF that's not romantic? I doubt you will be happy together for very long after awhile it will get old, special day's like your birthday should be remembered that might be telling you how important you are to him plus...could you actually think you would be happy with someone like this?.....I doubt it.....

If you don't express how important it is to you - and you really would like a nice surprise on valentines day - then definitely remind him.

Otherwise you'll end up going without :(

I think that if you have to remind him of any of those days he's a dildo and not worth it. Find somebody who doesn't need to reminded of these occasions and its all good.

No, you should not have to remind him. It should be something that he should want to do if he care enough. Besides, there is enough advertisement out there for him not to forget.
