I want to say yes because that is the right answer...
but my thoughts are this...you can never tell a sideline female for a non sideline female until it is too late. A sideline female is a woman who like a cheerleader stands on the sideline and tells your man to come her way. They look all buddy buddy from the outside, but on the inside it is a different deal.
If when you met your boyfriend he had this "best friend" it isn't fair to make him choose. You have to decide if it is something you can deal with.
Me..I couldn't deal with it. Because I know that Men find it very hard to turn away sexual advances. It isn't impossible but it is hard. I wouldn't put myself through the extra stress.
Again, this is something you should have dealt with in the very beginning and whatever you decided you should stick with it.

NO! @ some point feeling are bound to come! It'll with her telling you that she's met this gr8 guy & how he makes her laugh so hard her stomach hurts like no other person has then you'll start feeling a bit jelous.

yes i still have a best friend whose a guy and ive bin friends with him for 10 years and nothing has ever happened because we had a really gd friendship

well he does and always will, so that should show yo that you can not just be friends with a guy and it be normal like a girlfriends friendship, guys and girls can be bestfriends if they are a couple butif not there will always be that desire from them.
personally i like men bettter thsn women so i just ignore the sexual tension snd hsve fun as friends.
