How interesting! Sounds to me like you cat is in heat. This is going to go on for 2 or 3 weeks---enjoy! Better yet, take her to your vet and have her spayed. You may have to live thru this one, some vets will not spay while the cat is in heat/some will. She's not going to be eating a lot, and she doesn't care about treats, etc. She's hollering because she wants to mate.

Is the cat spayed?
If not then that's your problem, she's in heat.

If she is spayed it's possible she's just a very vocal cat.

If she is spayed and this constant meowing is a new behavior a trip to the Vet for a check-up is in order.

Questions: Is she desexed? Is she around 5-7 months? She may be in heat.
Is she a burmese or oriental/siamese? They do this when unsure.
Is she stressed about something.
Is there another cat hanging around outside that is upsetting her?

If she puts the front part of her body down towards the floor and sticks her butt up in the air, she is defiantly in heat. She will continue this and drive everyone in the house crazy until you get her spayed.

My cat usually crys either when she wants food or water or when she wants attention. Maybe try to give her more attention. That's what she's doing by meowing, she's trying to get your attention

how old is your cat, did she/he just come from a litter or was she/he seperated from another cat or a new house, it sounds like seperation anxiety or stress, try distracting the cat with cat toys & talking to it.
