Nope, belts do not reduce a big belly. The only thing belts do is to squeeze ur fats to either above or below the belt. My personal experience is that if you wear a belt tight for a long period of time, ur waist size does get a little smaller, but the effect is only temporary after the belt is removed. It last from few minutes to an hour max. Don't know the reason though. So the best way to reduce big bellies is to exercise :)

The answer is no. A big belly is caused by fat deposits. Fat is stored energy, or excess calories. So to lose it we must use the energy. We do this only, and I mean only, two ways. Reduce caloric intake, diet, or increase energy usage, exercise. The best idea is a combination of both. A belt may provide some cosmetic relief, but nothing real.Plus a belt has no health benefits.

Believe me i tried every gimmick out there. Only a good healthy diet and exercize will get the belly off. I was once 425 and now i'm down to 225. It took 2 work out sessions a day 6 days a week for nearly 18 months to get the weight off.
