Yes, people can retain water. That's why doctors will prescribe fluid pills.

I drink 2 gallons of water/day. Water decreases belly fat. I am 50 but people still card me when I go to the store. Water is the gift of life. Read the book: you're not sick; you're thirsty. You can look up water on the websites. Water will keep you hydrated; not dehydrated which leads to diseases.

Well drinking alot of water can have you keep on more water weight(depending on how much salt you intake)
Its usually between 5-10 lbs and is good for you to have(dehydration sucks!!!)

well for those who have abs, its not a problem. however, for those who do not, it a non-permanent belly. everytime you drink water (especially a lot) it gets stored and always makes your belly look bigger than usual. but it supposedly disappears when you let it out. all i know...beer makes the permanent belly.. :)

I can't say that I've ever heard that before - as far as I know, the only thing a lot of water will do is make you pee a lot!

Well I like to think of it like a balloon. At least it doesn't add calories, it cleanses our body, feeds, then leaves.
