Repeat after me:
1. Committment. Never give up. Never quit. You will not fail.
2. Shut your mouth. You don't need to eat all that crap. And its crap isn't it? Serving sizes are the key. Its not so much what you eat... its how much.
3. Get off of your butt. You must exercise. Bottom Line: you must burn more calories than you take in.

Triggering your metabolism to burn calories. Eating something healthy every 2-3 hours will get it up and running again. When we only eat once or twice a day, the body stores fat for survival. So the opposite is eating regular scheduled meals; sorta telling your body it's ok to burn, because you got more nutrients coming! Flushing your body of waste, with water consumption; will get you closer to your goal. Add a lil more movement each day...e.g., walking, housework etc.

get on a treadmill or just take long walks daily. You'd be surprised how effective walking, combined with a high protein, low-calorie diet, is.
