My friend had a question so I tap his shoulders, because I don't know his name so I asked the question. I could not hear what he was saying, gave me no eye contact.
I notice hes always checking me out but never talks.
Then he keeps telling this guy that hes going to steal my ipod because he likes it a lot. But he never talks to me. I told him the price and everything, he still would not give me eye contact even though I was. I might be shy also but at least I try to talk to him. He talks to other girls like really normal so I don't know whats really the deal.

Try saying hello to him and if he acts funny ask him directly, are you angry with me? Challenge him and ask questions, he may just be shy and will welcome you taking the initiative. You will learn more by talking to him and asking him questions than you will by sitting back and contemplating what may or may not be happening.

He is certainly not interest in you as a friend or anything. He likes your ipod.
Just give him the ipod and forget about it.
(the newer ones are actually better, so it is not a total loss by toss out the old ipod, right ?)

If he talks to other girls but acts shy and quiet around you, that means he REALLY likes you! If you like him back, just be friendly and encourage him to open up.
