i want to know if there are any guys out there who think super skinny girls are attractive..or...do they prefer a girl with an hourglass figure?

no skinny models are not attractive and neither are lane bryant models

It is sad that you think attractiveness has something to do with size. What these catwalk women have is confidence. I have known of women super skinny and morbidly obese who still pull guys, because they have the personality and confidence to do so. I am sure a man would prefer a woman with a brain, regardless of size, in the long run.

Here is the really sad news: Girls want to be skinny because of other girls! Yes, you read that right. Most guys (and if you do not believe me, check out any reputable survey) like women who are considered (by todays modeling standards) "large."
The average size in womens clothing in the United States today is a size 12. Not 2. Marilyn Monroe, who many ~still~ consider one of the most attractive women in modern popular media was a size 14.
Women spend their time trying to be "better" than other women, and that is who you truly are starving yourselves for. You spend your time in front of the mirror comparing yourselves against other women you see on TV and in the ads. You really do not care what us guys think, because 85% of us are happy with you JUST AS YOU ARE.
(And that other 15%? They are ~young~ guys, the 15-22 crowd who still do not know who they are yet!)

Here's a little something that most women don't understand about the fashion industry - most men DON'T CARE if it's 'in' or 'chic' or 'this season' - they only care that you look presentable. All the details women fret about are driven by their perceptions of what *other women* will think. The average guy is perfectly happy with women who have a medium build or even a small amount of heft. They're looking for healthy or possibly slim, *not* skinny. There's a difference.
Personally I like hearty, athletic Nordic women. But that's me.
