My face god burnt last Thursday and I've just started peeling today.
Can anybody tell me what I should do or use to speed up the process?
I know it sounds vain but I don't want to go to school with a half-skin-peeled face! It's the first day of 2007 at my high school so I will feel embaressed like this.

What can I use?
I tried rolling it off (gross, I know) with my fingers but my face really hurts now.

I live in Melbourne Australia so please don't recommend any products or techniques I can't get/use here.
Thanks!

Will the vaseline work on my neck as well? My neck is peeling as well.

I also got burnt on my right arm and it hasn't started peeling yet - can I use vaseline on my arm when it does start peeling?

Would I be able to get a cheap exfolient (sp?) at a place like K-Mart? - That's the only think open now (9pm) that would sell stuff for skin.

A mild MILD mild (did I say mild?) exfoliant. A harsh exfoliant could do serious damage to your already damaged skin. Follow up the exfoliant with a good moisturizer.

Living in Victoria myself, I know a place like K-Mart would sell a good moisturizer. They usually cost between $8 and $30 depending which one you get. I usually just moisturizer my face and it's not too bad the next day.
I sometimes use Vaseline but I don't think it's as good as a good moisturizer on the face.
Remember not to rub it off - it hurts a lot afterwords!! Also, it won't speed anything up if you just roll it off.

Good luck with school tomorrow - I start tomorrow as well :-)

Yup, K-Mart has exfoliants, or you could make a simple one at home yourself using something grainy like salt in a little moisturiser. Rub it over your face gently and rinse well, then moisturise well afterwards. This will get you as good as you're going to get in time for school. Best wishes.
