Why one god? why not a male and female one or more gods and sub gods?

Certianly one for each sex as the single god relgions tend to have a very male figure one.

With deligation to lesser gods with various departments for dealing with various things?

How come those who say their one god has no gender. that god has no female elements?


All macho male attiudes?

Dominant male figure and all that.

Yet pagans types have female god figures who often have no probelms with sex or sexaulity.

And those groups tend to be more peaceful

Plus we have two sexes why not at least two gods... and a couple who like making out.


Or would that then make sex moral if not hurtfultaking away the power from repression

er if females are weaker then males how come a female can use her sexuality to get a guy to do whatever she wants or give her what she wants yet a guy can't do the same?

Likewise females make better assasins as males are daft enough to trust them.

Each and every individual can accept there is one God or more. Whatever any ones believes in, in a kind loving way that does not affect others is a good way to live. Ancient belief made the man a symbol as God. That symbol was man made. Therefor not made by God. Religion or belief is very personal. I do really think each should have their own. Hope this is ok . There is only one God. The simplest example for it is... If there were 2 or more Gods we would be experiencing sun rising from different direction everyday... moon being absent... earth revolving out of its orbit etc.. because they all would do things in different manner.

We have always noticed that Males are dominant over females... so the simplest words would be God is always dominant so He can't be a female.

God can't be a Human for this statement pls read the following example...
suppose you make a video tape player.... if anything goes wrong in it u won't become a video tape to go inside and see wat is wrong. you will consult a manual or ur personal techniques. similarly God created us and if there is anything wrong with us it doesnt mean He will come as human to help us... there is the Holy Book The Qur'an... read it and solve the problem because it includes solution to every problem for this is the manual for every creature.

1. Why one god? You cannot serve several masters at the same time nor proclaim your loyalty to all of them.

2. why not male and female? in genesis, god said "let US make man in our own image...", which makes the god-being a more-than-one entity, with one clearly subject to the other, but doesn't make him/her a lesser god. As a result of that statement, Adam was created. for adam to be happy, a woman was created (later) to keep him company-- which makes the woman as another god design, although later, but nevertheless also not lesser human than adam-- which reflects the god(s) who created them (a he/she entity).

One for each sex would arise a great male-female divide as each group would try to outdo the other. The same god attribute for each sex would certainly turn into a battle of the sexes in the real sense, each invoking their superiority over the other. This is the reason why the male specie is designed by the one god to be a notch higher in the sex heirarchy (wife to submit to husband).

3. The human model of departmentalization is not a god attribute. otherwise, it would be a god of lesser capacity-- which would defeat the notion of a one god who can control all without relying on other god-beings to delegate his purpose.

4. there are a zillion "various things" in this life and the whole universe, so there would be as many gods to contend with if there would be one god for each department.

God is neither male nor female. The whole concept of God is an Unknowable Essence, one single Causeless Cause that created everything that exists. You cannot have a multiplicity of origins. God is All-Powerful, so He does not need subordinates running different things.
