You could check the Wikipedia website at Wikipedia.org and research on the Pomeranian dog of your choosing. You may also go to the bookstore and borrow books on the specific dog of your choice or on the basic subject of dogs

All colors, patterns, and variations there-of are allowed and must be judged on an equal basis. Patterns: Black and Tan - tan or rust sharply defined, appearing above each eye and on muzzle, throat, and forechest, on all legs and feet and below the tail. The richer the tan the more desirable; Brindle - the base color is gold, red, or orange-brindled with strong black cross stripes; Parti-color - is white with any other color distributed in patches with a white blaze preferred on the head. Classifications: The Open Classes at specialty shows may be divided by color as follows: Open Red, Orange, Cream, and Sable; Open Black, Brown, and Blue; Open Any Other Color, Pattern, or Variation.

hope this is helpful, "rare" colours do not exist, as mentioned before if someone is trying to sell you a "rare" marked pom they are just scamming for extra money

Poms come in lots of colors, none of which are considered "rare", the cream and black varieties are most commonly seen, and therefore thats what most people want, so thats what get bred most often. The AKC website gives you a definition of what they should look like and how to contact breeders.

I actually have a 9 year previous pomeranian call Keanu, Nunu for short (no, we did no longer call him). he's stable for the two enjoying and "cuddling." he's quite candy yet is apprehensive around babies. in the homestead we've been given him from, he grew to become into chased after by using babies for 2 years. in case you get a youthful one a take care of it good, it will make a physically powerful dogs. They do want to bark in spite of the undeniable fact that, distinctly whilst human beings come to the door. A pomeranian is a very stable decision for small canines.

Everyone is right that there are no rare colors, but some colors or markings can be hard to find. I would contact a few good breeders and tell them what you want. They should be able to help you or at least point you in the direction of a breeder who can. Good Luck with your search.

the color that you are looking for is called a parti color. get on the internet and look for pom breeders and look in the back of Dog World Mag. for pom breeders that raise that color.
