hi i have been using hair straighteners regularly and have just started noticing that my hair is really thinning out as it was quite thick before. if i left my hair natural from now on would my hair grow back with the same texture it had before?? thanks! x

Yes you will be fine. Stop straightening it until your roots come back and your hair grows out.

My hairs the same, you are simply overdoing the straightening.

Use a good conditioner at least 3 times a week and your hair will go normal again. Good luck!

yes with time it will come back. it's a good thing you noticed that the heat was causing the damage and you are willing to stop using it and go natural. For some women they'd rather have thinned damanged hair then go natural. it's gonna take some time, but yeah you'll all right.

straightening your hair makes your hair quite thin this happened to my hair a lot so now when i straiten my hair i use tony&guy heat resistance spray that i got from boots its really good

yes it can! just use a lot of conditioner and heat defence spray on the hair to help it........or you can still straighten your hair but you could not do very often.....ive left my to do what it wants when im not going out but if i do go out ill straighten my hair!! thanks! xx

It should go back to normal if you leave it alone.But remember they say that our hair and skin changes every seven years.So that's what maybe happening to you.
