2 Samuel 24 (King James Version)
2 Samuel 24
1And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.
1 Chronicles 21:1 (King James Version)
1 Chronicles 21
1And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.
This is the same story told in two different chapters of the bible, either God forgot that he had told David to number Israel when he inspired the person who wrote 1 Chronicles, or God is Satan.

No no no... God couldn't be Satan...
That'd be like saying the Celestial Teapot and the Tooth Fairy are the same... but God, Satan, the Celestial Teapot, and the Tooth Fairy are all FAKE.

It's told 2 different ways. God's anger was kindled so He allowed satan to get David to number the people. Still God moving! just that it specifies that He used the devil to prod David in one passage, and merely states He moved David in the other (without mentioning satan was the tool He used). No biggie!

If God is Satan, then He would have had to have kicked Himself out of Heaven for trying to overthrow Himself.
Remember the passage where the Pharisees say that Jesus must be the Devil, when He is casting out demons from people.
Jesus reply was "(paraphrased) why would a devil cast out its own? A house divided cannot stand."
Remember also, that the Bible states that good will be used for evil and evil for good.
ALSO remember that Job was afflicted terribly & his "friends" told him that he must have done something to rouse God against him. HOWEVER, it was Lucifer (Satan, the Devil, etc.) who was the one who was in charge of all the damage that was done to Job's life. God merely allowed those things to happen to prove Job's faithfulness. GOD did not afflict Job, but HE did set the rules for how badly Job could be afflicted by Satan.

the King James version of the bible was written by a poet, some say shakespere, for King James with the understanding of poetic freedom. therefore the King James version may be easily mis-interpreted.
Satan is a fallen angel who has a grudge against god. they are not the same.

in the beginning up, lucifer is an "accuser" or an "adversary" who wanders the earth searching for vagrants that attempt to "pretend" their faith in god. He substitute into the royal prosecutor of the divine courtroom equipment and generally made deals with god to objective particular suspects or maybe to objective god's very own suggestions. in the submit-NT era, lucifer is converted to be the same being as devil and acquires an extremely different character. Lucifer is now attributed through fact the snake that tempted Eve and the beast which will burn in the lake of hearth after the apocalypse. Angels falling from heaven is incredibly an older Canaanite theory that tried to describe falling stars and the assertion of Venus being the brightest merchandise merely in the past the dawning sunlight and re-appearing at nightfall. yet through fact of Venus's unusual orbit, it never rises severe in the sky. This grew to alter into enshrined in legend as a sub-god attempting to upward push over the main god yet substitute into overthrown and forged right down to the earth. Lucifer's unique call means easy Bearer and represents Venus shining in finished capability in the past the sunlight rises. Peter calls him the Morning celebrity.

Check your verse numbers please, I just looked those up and they don't say what you say they say.
Ah, okay, I see where you are going. If you check the margins of your Bible you'll also see that both those verses are referenced to Job 1:1-6.
God removed His hand of protection from Job, and thus Satan was able to do his nasty works upon him. The verses are implying the same thing in Samuel and Chronicles, that God removed His protection from Israel and thus Satan was able to move against them.
So in both cases, you could say that God moved against them (by removing his hand of protection) or that Satan moved against them (by doing his evil work).
It certainly doesn't prove that God is Satan.
