RBCs upto 5 per high power field are normal. WBCs more than 5 per HPF in a male and more than 8 per HPF in a female are suggestive of infection, especially if nitrites are also present. Epithelial cells are old, degenerating, cast off cells from the urinary tract, and are of no importance.

"hpf" ...means "high power field" (counts are what are seen within this view)

So you have 1-2 red blood cells per hpf...a little high

7-12 white blood cells per hpf....a little more than a little high

many epithelial cells (skin is epithilial cells)

What does all that mean?

Well it's not normal, but not knowing your age or symptoms.....the data alone is of little value.....

Could be an unclean sample, or a sample during your period, could be a urinary tract infection, or kidney infection, or bladder cancer or an STD or whatever.....basically you should go follow up with the doctor who ordered the test to interpret the results in context.

RBC = red blood cells; normal range is 0 - 2 in a high power field ("hpf"); your reading is in the normal range.
WBC = white blood cells; normal range is 0 - 5 in a hpf; your reading is somewhat above normal.
The presence of "many" epithelial cells may indicate an infection somewhere in the urinary tract.
