I believe we have the second largest Muslim Country on our doorstep, who publically despise Australia & the West & all we stand for. Our Government "allowed" the Indonesian masacre of East Timor to occur for "fear" of treading on their toes ! However THEY can't afford to keep a War plane in the sky for any length of time ! Their only perceived "threat" would be as a gateway for extremist & terorism. Apparently we contribute to their fledgling economy to the tune of $1billion a year in "foreign Aid", as a pay off to keep them at bay. But really even our "small" specialised forces would decimate any planned occupation or threat of invasion, so why bow to an arrogant, untrustworthy neighbour, is it a matter of keeping your friends close & your enemies closer ! How can we be certain that our foreign "aid" is being utilised as intended & not to harbour terorism, the one thing this approach is trying to avoid. When will our Government stand up & wake up, what will it take, DONT FORGET TIMOR

I don't think anyone is paranoid who worries about muslim extremists. Here is my theory that I learned from a Special Forces Major who fought in Vietnam. He uses this quote:
"The conventional army loses if it does not win. The guerrilla wins if he does not lose." - Henry Alfred Kissinger
Different viewpoint than the conventional warfare soldier is trained for. Is it true, I say absolutely!

Hey, you're not the only neighbour of Indonesia. There are some other Asian countries who are Indonesia's neighbours too, but they weren't worried about Indonesia. The rule is, don't mess around with them if you don't want them to mess around with you. Just leave them alone and they'll do the same to you. Plain and simple.

as far as I know Australia is a racist country with racists.
For those who disagree with me, just study its history
and current policies on other non-white countries.
That will help you see more clearly.
