When meditating, your brain waves change. A sudden change in type of brain waves may trigger a mini seizure in your brain. However this is not normal and indicates an underlying problem; go see a doctor dude.

I have had seizures for 26 years, and I have learned that when i pray, or try to meditate that it cannot be done because i will go into a petit-mal seizure. No one notices but me. But when my family gathers to pray, or I am somewhere where a prayer is going to be said, I will keep my eyes open an listen wholeheartedly to the prayer and say Amen.
But as far as religious and scientific are concerned, i seriously doubt it.

does it only happen when you pray or meditate?
seizure is an electrical impulse or wave that may be caused by several imbalances in the brain. there is also a seizure called absence seizure wherein you appear to be "thinking" because you are not moving at all. this is very quick when it occurs and you wont even notice it. its like being "blank" for a second. happens to children most often.
ifthis seizure you re telling is often happening you need to consult a neurologist to asess if its just a physiologic defect or a pathophysiologic (disease) one

It is impossible to experience a nanosecond event since a nanosecond is to short (0.000000001s) to trigger a nervous impulse
