such as thinking people are gossiping about you?I can't even get a workout in because i think someone is trying to annoy me...

to avoid annoying at the gym you should wear headphones during your workout that way you won't be disturb by anyone. Also ignore other people and concentrate on your workout. Do not even care about what others think about or talk about you.

Work out at home instead if you're sure that people are causing you problems (otherwise, get over it). It's cheaper and plenty good enough if you have normal resources and you're not trying for the Olympics or something. Alternatively, go at a different time of day if you can. You shouldn't need to spend more than three or four hours there per week anyway . . . . Good night!

quit going to the gym and get therapy for your paranoia- that way you will not be annoyed or annoying at the gym
