No, it is NOT normal for a 45 year old male to lose interest in sex!
He either has a medical condition or a psychological one.
He should be evaluated by and MD.
Good luck

The lack of testosterone could be the problem. Men that age can go through a type of menopause, called Andropause, which can cause hormones to fluctuate, just like women do. It is not a very popular science. My husband is also 45 and not very interested. Talks the talk, but when it comes to doing something, he would rather sleep. Oh well. It is only a problem if your needs aren't being met. Have him mention it to his doctor at his next check-up.

Medical Problem. Men do not like to go to the doctor for nothing
Tough Guys they wont even cry if a tooth aches...
I would coach him to go to a doctor 45 is still YOUNG in my book
Another girl in the picture?
If he was my man I would go to the doctor with him as the body changes after 40...a six chage not likely Men love six...I spell it wrong because in latin sex is six and number terms men love six..as much as women do...Just think of a man in the terms for him being you and if you lost anything You as a female run to the doctor men dont... It may not be serious but check the blood...men use more blood for six than we do...

Not all men. He may be having some mental worries or he may be diabetic or is he a smoker? Tell him to take Noni herbal fruit juice twice a day with water. Also take Ashwagandha ayurvedic tablets 2-0-2 with milk.

not to say that you husband is not having problems, i would say he needs to see a doctor and needs prostate check every year after 40 for cancer. some men go through a mid-life crisis and lose interest. ask his doctor and see he should know him best!!!!

alot of factors play in a part in a man losing his sex drive,a lack of interest in general life, work problems, home problems, stress, too much pressure, age, worrying about getting older, worrying about satisfying their partner.
My partner is 46,im 36 he worries about the older he gets the harder it is to lose weight, hes abit over weight,he doesnt like his body and wont let me see it.
This has a big impact on his sex drive and although im patient it is a small draw back.
Ask your husband if anythings bothering him,you will probably find he has a few problems he cant get to grips with and thats your queue to help him help himself.
Be patient and understanding, your husband will feel bad enough that hes not giving you want you want/need.

Stay ready for it whenever he asks you (without clothes) or try to convince him. If it doesnt work then get convinced that you may find someone else.

Please tell him to check for Thyroid problems. He can try some aphrodisiac like Shilajit. Some ****** literature or movies might help.
