and all the rest of us for their "sin." Can a baby sin? A baby doesn't know good from evil, right from wrong, and neither did Adam and Eve BEFORE they tasted the forbidden fruit!

The Last Ent Wife: Your analogy is incorrect. It's as if you told the baby not to reach for CANDY and then beat the crap out of it for doing so.

Tyrants always discourage dissent by creating an example and punishing it harshly.

Ask yourself why "God" forbade the enlightenment of human consciousness with knowledge and wisdom.

Hail Satan,

Adam and Eve were told not to eat the fruit. Sin is disobeying God. A baby has the same nature as their parents, but their accountability to God is found when they know right from wrong. Adam and Eve were the whole human race when they sinned, which is why we are affected by their sin. Jesus Christ came as a second Adam living a sinless life and paying for the sins of all who believe in Him.

God punished Adam and Eve and dropped them from heaven into this earth because they did not obey the God's warning.God told Adam and Eve that they did not allow to come near a certain tree and did not allow to eat its fruits. But Adam and Eve were tempted by satan or iblis that they should eat the fruits if they wanted to live eternally in heaven. They ate its fruits and they became nake.So they covered their body with leaves.Adam was created by God from soil and he had given many names of anything that were in this earth.Eve was created from Adam's rib bone..They knew what was good and what was bad..God insructed angels and satans for bowing to Adam but satans did not obey.Satans told God that they were more honourable than A
dam because they were created by God from fire whike Adam from soil,God got angry with satans because they were conceit. So God dropped also satans into this earth.Satans vowed to the God that they would try hard for tempting humans during their lives. They want to bring humans into the wrong path
which are against with God's willingness.
All born babies up to grown up have no sin. They are like a white papers.Parents have the responsiblity to educate the babies with good characters for good doings and avoid bad doings.in line with the right religion..

The tree was a test. Babys don't sin. They are born in sin that's why they die physically but they aren't separated from God spiritually because they haven't sinned and go to heaven if they die.

There was just as much of a possibility that they would have passed the test as fail it, and we can only imagine what life would be like now, without sin and corruption, if they had passed the test.

God knew that they would fail and the plan of salvation was already a reality when they did.

Adam knew right from wrong...God told him he could eat from any tree in the garden except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Eve was told this third hand and was trick by the devil into eating the fruit while Adam went along with it. All the trouble today would not exist if Adam had stood up like a man and said not the enemies attack. Christ is the new and better Adam who is sinless.

If I remember correctly, it's not really a question of right or wrong. Adam and Eve got punished because they disobeyed him just like a child gets punished when he/she does not obey the parents. God did tell them not to eat the forbidden fruit but they did anyway and so the whole of humanity pays for it.

I dont mean to insult anyone but, I think this whole story is "bull...."

God punished Adam and Eve because of the choice they made. They had perfect health and lived in paradise with all the animals - the only command they were given was not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and bad - if they did they would die. It's not like there weren't other trees to eat from in the garden - when they made the decision to eat from that tree they decided for themselves that they could make decisions on their own - basically saying they mankind could rule himself without God's help. God gave them free will and they chose to disobey. All of mankind inherited sin from Adam in the same way children can inherit rare diseases from their parents.
Romans 5:12 says:"That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned."
If you use a pan with a dent in it to bake a loaf of bread - each loaf that is baked will have that same dent- we all inherited sin from Adam.
Babies are too young to make decisions for themselves but when we are born we inherit sin. Gensis 8:21 says that "the inclination of the heart of man is bad from his youth up" so even when we are young we are imperfect.
God made a plan to right everything though. 1 Corinthians 15:21 says "For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive."
Since Jesus died for our sins he bought back what Adam lost for all mankind - perfect health and everlasting life. When we die our sin is erased: Romans 6:7 says "For he who has died has been acquitted from [his] sin."
In the near future God plans on restoring the earth back to the conditions of the Garden of Eden where mankind will be at peace forever. Psalms 37:11 says:"But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace"
Psalms 37:29 says"The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it."
God will resurrect those who have died back to a paradise earth where God's Kingdom will rule and there will be no more sin or death. John 5:28,29 says " Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice  and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
Hope this helps.

Man violated the rules------dont eat of the tree---and they chose the consequences.

Once again blaming God for man's decision.

And because you are born in sin----of a sinful race
You are a candidate for grace---undeserved favor--

man fell through the temptation offered by Lucifer

Lucifer fell with no external source of temptation.

That is why angels are not candidates for grace, and have no savior.

Good question, I will give you that.

He punished them because they disobeyed his orders. They were lead into temptation by the Devil and they were punished for it.

God told them that they all that good stuff to eat, and they COULD NOT eat from that one tree. But, they chose to eat from the one and only tree that they were not allowed to eat from. Curiosity and temptation overtook them (because they are only human).

I think the same way as you. I think babies can't possibly have any sin about them because they are newly born and they are pure&sin-free. But suposedly we are all *born* sinners. So, even a newborn baby is a sinner (according to the way that some people think)

I love God, but sometimes I have questions too.

Take Care and *hugs*

Yes they did not know sin. But they new obedience, and they were told not to eat the fruit. And know a baby can’t sin if they don’t know it is a sin. I says in the bible that we will not be held accountable for are wrongs if we don’t know it is wrong. And the bible also says that we are born spirtily dead.

Could you really pull a woman out from your rib? Could a senior citizen really build a big ole boat and gather up all the animals in the world? Why aren't the dinosaurs, DNA and nuclear power in the bible?
