FIrst go to the www.irctc.co.in
Then U have to register for ur user name and password by filling a online form
Then u can login the web using ur id and password.
Then U will find a form, in which u fill ur details from to date of journey, class etc.
THen there is three options. One is e-ticket(U can take print out after booking the ticket) I-ticket( Ticket will be sent to ur address which u entered in ur log in column)
THen u fill find a list of trains. Check for availability and fare and route. Then enter the passenger details. In case of E-ticket enter the personal identity card (Voter id, Driving licence.. etc) Then make ur payment using debit or credit card..
Thats all.

Hi there,
You can book tickets online. For this you first have to make an account with Indian railways website.
Go to the link below
http://www.indianrail.gov.in/
when on this page go to the online reservation. It will direct you to the irctc page where you can fill in your user name and password.
Once you are logged in then you can plan your journey by selecting your source station from the drop down box as well as the destination station in the same fashion.
It will then show you the trains that are running between these stations and you can choose the one you are looking for and then follow the instruction.
Important thing you need to have a credit card or if u have a debit card then internet banking password would be required.

U can book talkal also.But u can't book waiting list tickets Online.

then go to "book tickets" link ..
