We hope to get out alive! No, seriously, don't outdo him on the romantic stuff, but sweet/sexy gifts are great. Since he is far away a note and picture(s) would be great. How about 2 pictures: one sexy, one sweet and a picture frame. He can switch them around when his mother visits.

send him a nice jacket or his fav branded shirt..and a cap if thats not too much for the pocket..or maybe fast track eye gear if he bikes..or a wrist watch?.. thse r in things today..but make sure u send him a hand written letter telling him that u miss him more than he does..
