Today i started grade nine & one of my classes is combined with a grade eight class there is a guy in there who i had feelings for since the first second i saw him (weird i know) .... we exchanged some flirty smiles etc =] but i never actully talked 2 him...i dont even know his name.....its not that im to shy to say anything to him im just not sure how to start up a conversation find out his name or maybe ask for his number/msn

just go up to him and say hi and ask him wut's up or how his day is going, see if he keeps the conversation going to start with to even see if you would like his number, if it goes well anything could happen. good luck

Approach him as if you just want to be his friend. I would say "Hi I'm Stacey its wierd being in a combined grade class hey, whats your name?"
You should find it easy from there, conversation should flow. Don't plan for what is said next as it will come across unnatural.

first step is look at him... be sure he knows you are looking at him... you know, when he passes by be sure to give him a SHORT look... not a stare...
then smile at him.. be sure he smiles back if not then dont do it again... give some time then repeat the smiling part... if he still doesnt smile back, he's not interrested in you
if youre bold enough say "hi" but dont expect reply instantly.. if he smiles back you have a chance
then say " hi, im (name) we're classmates in (subject) class" perhaps he'll reply and then you'll get a good conversation...

:] i was like this, but with a guy in my grade. talk to him. just ask him what the hw is one day out side of class. me and teh guy i like talk now. just talk about anything. we were talkign about how we loved chocolate, and the next day is brought me chocolate. do somethign liek that. good luck, and find out what his name is!

ok just keep it nice and simple, you have been in the same school for years so try to say hello, ask him to sit with you at lunch and find things to talk about. it's not that hard i swear, it will all come together after you just say hello.

this is what i would do, i no it may be weird bu it will work. get your friends to get his msn or mobile number, or just casulaly search peoples contatcs and get his number then you dont appear to needy
