Your bird, in American, is known as a pigeon. PIgeons are not dangerous for the skin.

Pigeons can carry diseases, but so can all bird species.

I think you are pretty safe raising pigeons. I had over 400 at one time...they didn't give me anything.

A friend of mine got a disease called Psittacosis, but most pigeons don't carry this disease.

My best advice is have it checked by a veterinarian, and if you cannot do that, then if any of your pigeons become ill, separate them from the rest of the birds, and always sterilize clothing and hands that touched them, until their health improves.

i dont think so.

but for deseases u can check with your nearest animal doc or veterinier.
