Would it matter really? Jesus was on earth in human form, his child would be human. Jewish religious leaders married and had children, so it would have been quite normal and in no way any kind of sin. The Devinci Code is a fictional movie based of the book Holy Blood, Holy Grail.
As for GalacticGoodness- Roman history does not dispute that Jesus existed. His trial and execution are well documented by Roman and Greek Historians. The only dispute is was he a God or a man.

There is no evidence, tradition, or even legend that says that Jesus married Mary Magdalen.
This concept is a new heresy from Dan Brown and others that attacks the integrity of Jesus, Mary Magdalen, all of the New Testament writers, and all early Church leaders whose two thousand year old testimony should speak for themselves.
With love in Christ.

There is no evidence, Biblical or otherwise, to support this theory. If Jesus had married, why wasn't it mentioned in the gospels? It surely would have been. When the apostle Paul spoke about husbands and wives and their roles in a marriage, he surely would have pointed to Jesus and Mary Magdalene as examples had they been married, would he not? Afterall, Jesus would have been the epitome of a perfect husband.
His purpose in coming was to seek and to save what is lost, not to get married and have children. Knowing His purpose in coming and that He would be crucified, why would He marry only to subject a wife and children to the horror of His brutal death? He wouldn't. And to those who have said that not to marry would have been frowned upon back then, I say there were lots of things Jesus did that were frowned upon by the religious authorities.
Christ has a bride! And that bride is His church.

nope...read the bible. Jesus was, is, and always will be perfect. He did not need the love of a women because he had a direct connection with God. Nor did he ever give into his flesh. Read the bible and judge for yourself instead of basing your conclusions on someone elses...

No one will ever know. It's very likely that he did (and no I have never read or seen the DaVinci Code) as it was very uncommon and even frowned upon back then for a man to be his age and not be married with children.

No. Many people believe that because of the false teachings in The DaVinci Code.

You've been taking the Da Vinci Code by Dan Conner too serious. The Da Vinci Code is a great book if you like mystery and suspense filled detective stories. It's got all the necessary ingredients to create a book that will keep you up all night reading it. But you have to understand that it is just fiction. The Teaching Company put out a one hour lecture on this book by a Dr. Urlich(I think that was his name). He's a professor of comparative religions at the University of North Carolina and one of the premier experts of early christianity in the world. He is definitely not a christian. He said that though it was a great read, there is virtually nothing in it at all that's true. My thoughts are that it's a good read until that professor Teabing comes on the scene. From that point on there's about 6 historical errors on every page. The New York Times has a bestseller fiction booklist and a best seller non-fiction booklist. The Times had it right. They had it listed #1...........on their FICTION book list.

There is absolutely no way to answer this for sure. Some theories say yes. Most of religious history says no. Me, I like the possibility (it makes him even more human, to have had a wife and children), but I would never try to convince people that it's the "right" theory.

Peace be with you. The Truth shall make you free.
The children of this world marry and are given in marriage, but the children of the resurrection are as Angels, there are no marriages in heaven. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
And as in the days of Noah they were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, and knew not until the flood came and took them all away.
But as many that received him, he gave them power to become sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. Which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor the will of man, BUT OF GOD.
Eve, Sarah, Racheal, Elisabeth, and Mary, needed no man to conceive a child, they were all brides of God's through the Holy Ghost. The House of David, not the seed of David, 42 generations from NATHAN to MARY.
Jesus showed us how to love as it is done in heaven,
Love one another as I have Loved you, and by this men will know ye are my disciples.
As the disciple that Jesus loved laid his head on the breast of Jesus at supper, and asked who shall betry you?
And when the disciple saw that it was Jesus, Peter girded his loins (for he was naked) and did cast himself into the sea.
And I say unto you there in that night there shall be two men in one bed.... There shall be two women grinding togeather...one shall be taken and the other left.
Thou shall not LUST

You should read, "Bloodline of the Holy Grail: The Hidden Lineage of Jesus Revealed, by Laurence Gardner. This author states that Jesus had 3 children and they were one girl and two boys. It is very interesting to read.
