Muslims believe in Jinns, a 3rd creation....angels, humans and jinns.

THey are like humans, capable of doing good and bad, and live amongst us. "demons" are evil jinns. They have powers (could say like magic) and the evil jinn's like to play jokes and torment humans. ...So thats sorta one explanation of ghosts

Also, we say you don't go straight to heaven when you die, thats not until the day of judegment. Your spirit stays in your grave. If you were a bad person, your punishment starts out in the grave and your sins may have been "burned" off by the time the day of judgement comes. If you were predomenatly good, your rewards are good.

Soo if you died in a building...like in a fire or it collapsed...hypothetically your spirit could reside there. ...ghosts again.

I do believe the scientific belief currently is that all the elctromagnetic waves messes with your brain. People that live closer to power generators, tend to "see" ghosts more often or notice paranormal activites.

Example, one guy was fine, moved toa new house close to where the power generators were, and he noticed things were rearranged hwen he woke up. They didn't get any evidence, but the scientist thought the electromagnetic waves were messing with him and he started sleep walking and was the one in fact rearanging things. You figure we have high contact with electromagnetism daily in the modern world.

THere are other things, doors slamming and weird nosies which end up being things like the wind or just creeks in an old house.

Schitzophrenia or psychosis could essentially produce ghosts. You see things that are not there.

A lot of the ghost hunters and those who study ghosts claim they will drain batteries, blow light bulbs, and various other electrical things. In the medical field it is known that it is common for someone who is about to die to see family and friends. Some will begin seeing them about a week to just hours before they themselves pass away. One of the phenomenons of this is that a lot of them see people who are gone, but have no idea that they have passed already. For instance, my father was dying of cancer, and he said 2 co-workers were there wanting him to come with them. One he knew had died, the other he didn't. The man had just died a week before, and no one had told him. He also described to me a dog that my brother had had, who died, my father was unaware that they even had this dog since the dog was a puppy that had been born with something wrong and died after a few months. My mother was there when he described it, and she didn't even know about the dog, not until my brother came home and we told him what dad had said he saw sitting in a chair. It was the dogs favorite chair he would sit in.

According to the Bible, human spirits go to judgement after death. They cannot linger here.

But there are evil spirits in the world. Demons you may call them. They can take the form of a dead person and misguide people.

So then in that way, yes Ghost exist, but they are not human spirits but rather evil spirits.
