Why can't libs figure out that to be successful fighting terrorists, we must fight them over there - not here!

By killing them over there, we fight them on OUR terms NOT theirs. Can you imagine rolling gun fights with terrorists in our malls, theaters, and schools? Believe me, they will find the softest targets with the most politcal impact. And unless we stay and defeat them over there, they WILL come here. No question about it. The TV show "24" is most frightening and right on about this crisis. They've got it together which we NEVER will with leaders like Pelosi, Clinton, Kerry, and Kennedy and many more. These people are fools. God forbid that something should happen while these people are in power. They wouldn't have idea No. 1 about what to do except stand in a circle and point fingers, usually at Bush for their own failings. Any kind of cut-and-run doctrine or resolution that brings the troops home before the war is won is a lost war and tells the enemy that we can't stomach the fight, so please come and kill us in our homes instead. And the libs just don't get it!!!

Because their brain power isn't strong enough to allow them to understand the truth. They don't use their brains, but their mouths (or is it their butts that they use) in place of their brains. Liberals are fools - and those that can't see beyond their anti-war/anti-Bush rhetoric are too gullible and naive - they'll believe anything that a liberal spits out of his/her mouth! The liberals always will point fingers and lash out at Bush to cover their own butts and hide their failures. Clinton had 8 LOOOOONG years to get Bin Laden, but the jackass failed and now, Bush is taking all the heat from it. Look all the attacks that happened prior to 9/11 - what did Clinton do about them? NOTHING!! NOW, Bush has to clean up Slick Willie's mess and is taking the rap for it as well - pretty sly of Clinton to 'exit' the WH without any backlash for his failures, knowing that the next president would take the fall for his foul-ups.

If the liberals had any agenda or solution to Iraq, they certainly aren't mentioning it. Why? Because they DON'T have an agenda. To hide the fact that they can't come up with an answer or solution of their own, they just continue on with their whining and pathetic rants against Bush!! Heck, they even have their 'big guns' in 'Follywood' to keep the Bush-bashing facade going (Jane "Hanoi Traitor B*tch" Fonda, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, and that mixed up, mentally-disturbed Cindy Sheehan). Of course, many others like Danny Glover (commie lover who lovingly embraced Chavez when he was here), Bon Jovi, Alec Baldwin, Springsteen, etc. - all of the liberals' 'Hollywood hounds' have jumped on the 'Bush-bashing bandwagon. Guess the libs need those in 'Follywood' who, on their 'down time' - bored because their agents can't get 'em movie roles right now, to help them with their anti-Bush/anti-war campaign.

Why can't republicans understand that this whole war has been a lie from the get go? and what I want to know is how do republicans think that we can catch and kill every single terrorist? do we have names and pictures of every single one who are claimed to be terrorist? No we don't. Bush can not make up his mind on why we are even over there...
1st it was 9/11 and the ones that "caused" 9/11 to happen was in iraq.. which was a lie...
2nd. bush said that saddam was linked with al quada which was another lie, that the white house had admitted to..
3rd. then after the saddam lie, there was to be WMD's in iraq, which the white house has admitted to being wrong.
4th. it is to dangerous to pull out because the terrorist will follow us back here.. then it changed again to.
5th. we have to stay and help the iraqi people form a government...

that truth is that the US invaded iraq and started this war based upon lies. thousands of american soldiers has been killed and injured during this bloodshed. thousands of innocent iraqi civilians have been killed. even some has been raped by american soldiers. these soldiers of ours that are killing and raping innocent people should not even be able to call themselves human... so the question should be, why hasn't the republicans open their eyes to see that Bush is dragging america down. out of several polls bush has been voted the 3rd worst president in the US history.

Do you not realize that hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's, many of them civilians, have had to die? And we have a president who has admitted that he doesn't think too much about finding Osama bin Laden anymore. And by the way darling, none of the 9/11 hijackers/terrorists was an Iraqi. They were mostly Saudi.

And I also don't think a way to end terrorism is to go into a country and kill it's people. I'm of the mindset that that's the kind of actions that foster the type of hatred for this country that encourages more terrorism.

Al Qaeda's goals aren't a secret. They have stated them publicly and even have them posted on websites. The total destruction of the US is not one of their goals, though many conservatives have bought into the idea that this is what the terrorists want.

The #1 goal of Al Qaeda is to drive Americans and American influence out of all Muslim nations, especially Saudi Arabia. They also want to destroy Israel and get rid of any dictatorships propped up by the West. Bin Laden himself has said that this is what he is trying to accomplish.

Al Qaeda is only in Iraq now because we are there. If we leave, they will leave, and they will likely focus their efforts on the US and NATO troops in Afghanistan. If we redeploy our troops there, we will have greater success in that mission and only have to fight Al Qaeda on a single front.

My best friend has a 19 year old. She is terrified that the draft will be reinstated. Her thing is "I don't want my son going there to fight". My answer is "if we don't fight them there, your son WILL be fighting and so will you and I and everyone here".
Because if they come here we will have no choice. We will fight or we will die.
I do sometimes wonder why this is not clear for some people. They protest the war. They want to cut the defense budget. Do you ever wonder what they will think of their little protest if that should come? Ever wonder who they will point their finger at then? Who they will blame? Well the one who LET it happen.
Because it will not be their fault. It never is.

we can stop terrorism in our land by way of intelligence(which i think is not enough), of course you are probably correct, it would be a bad scenario when they break lose in our streets destroying innocent lives. i would agree with the way Bush running around things in defeating terrors, better safe now than sorry later. liberals dont know what theyre saying, they just want to make Bush in an ill manner position. take the Q on them...what would they do if theyre the president and USA is undersiege? will they take the blame if 9/11 happens again?

We can leave and then they would just kill each other. But if the Iranians "buy " a bomb from Russia which they have already, then they will sneak it into Israel and blow up Tel Aviv. Next they will say they have bombs in every country and hold us hostage.
