The "Blue Book of Gun Values" >pretty accurate for most firearms, any printed material on the prices of firearms is/could be out of date.

If your gun is an old collector then you are going to want to look in the blue book of gun values but if it is a shooter and you want an actual "street value" then go to gunbroker.com and check out what similar guns are selling for in the same condition.
