you dont want just a protein powder for mass, you need a gainer. There powders that are high protein AND high calories (the good calories, not bad ones). This will increase your weight in the right places.

1g of protein burns about 2-3 calories. So high protein diet isnt gonna gain as much as you think.

When i weight lift i drink something called muscle milk. Its not whey protien but it has protein none the less. I'll give you a few links for whey protien drinks. You can pick some of them up at meijer. This one is my favorite though http://www.musclesurf.com/liquidwhey.html

pure whey protien. It might be a little expensive but it works good. Just make sure you drink lots of water if you drink a lot of protien.

I've been looking into this too. It seems that, say, 1 Kilo of pure whey protein is simply 1 k of protein, and it's that simple. So it will say on the box.

My son who is 15 has always had a difficult time putting on weight. He has been supplementing his daily eating with a product called True-Mass Lean mass gainer. He has been on this product for about 3 months and has gained 25 pounds. You can get it at a health food store, or check out www.bsnonline.net Good Luck!
P.S. I hear another Good one is called JayRobe

I found many kinds on the websites. Also there is a whey protein supplement powder that you can add to your food. Also they come in pill form.

well, i dunno, but im taking a nutrition class and it is doubtful that you need a protein supplement. just eat protein in foods, as well as the other basic food groups and youll be good!
