It has nothing to do with the illegal dad, it has to do with the women. It is not only a problem with the illegals, it is also a problem with the legals to, I sorry a women on welfare should not have any more kids, until she can suport her kids, I am not talking in a case of disabilty or if she goes on welfare for a short time, but the women that are one welfare for 20 years and her 5 kids go on welfare that has to stop legal or not legal.

The system is so wrong and changes need to be made. These babies are anchor babies. The laws should not change, as far as their citizenship is concerned.
However they and the parents should go back until the child turns 18 years of age and is considered a legal adult.
At which time the child can chose to come back legally into the America.
This will cut back on welfare etc. The parents might still come over and have babies however they would know that it will not get them a legal stay!!

I think legals have the same problem. Why do American women on welfare keep having children? They are never questioned either.

Americans work hard and have to share with illegals who work hard and are paid very cheaply. Basically, the average American person's progress is being siphoned by illegals, which the illegals work about as cheaply as slaves.
A perfect cycle of slave labor in which Americans are oblivious to their elected government officials' creation. It is designed to destroy the middle class.

Good question. Currently, California spends over $10.5 billion a year on illegal aliens.
It is highly irresponsible for them to have children knowing they will be deported.
The children are NOT citizens says the Supreme Court. It is time for the U.S. congress to clarify the issue.
The Supreme Court has said to qualify a child for citizenship, the parents must be 'completely subject' to the jurisdiction of the United States and must have “direct and immediate” allegiance to the United States. That statement makes children of illegal aliens not citizens.
"Supreme Court: "The evident meaning of these last words is, not merely subject in some respect or degree to the jurisdiction of the United States, but completely subject to their political jurisdiction, and owing them direct and immediate allegiance. And the words relate to the time of birth in the one case, as they do to the time of naturalization in the other. Persons not thus subject to the jurisdiction of the United States at the time of birth cannot become so afterwards, except by being naturalized, either individually, as by proceedings under the naturalization acts; or collectively, as by the force of a treaty by which foreign territory is acquired"

Its because the US corporations want them here for cheap labor but the people are so uneducated and helpless that if we dont take care of them like little children then they would be wandering the streets and starving in masses, not a good situation we got ourselves in.

This is a good question, I've never thought about this before. It got me to thinking further, a woman and her newborn have to be in the hospital at least 24 hours, so why do they not check out legal status with all this time?

Children born in the US, regardless of the parents' legal status are US citizens with all the rights and privileges of US citizenship.
If an American woman has a child and she does not name the father of the child, the government will not force her to do so.
