Has anyone ever started a 'friends with benefits' thing with an ex? And how did that go for u? Did u ever get back together or just sleep together til u met someone else?

yeah i have....We ended up getting back together, then breaking up again and doing the friends with benefits thing again and then we got together again and now we are broke up and rarely speak to eachother mostly because she went to a school very far away. It's basically like still dating but not doing all the out of bed stuff for a little while. If you want to get back together do it. If you wanna just be friends you probably shouldn't.

You are a silly women he probably wants to keep sleeping with you so he knows you'll always be there but he may have someone else and therefore you are playing with fire cos you may get burnt if he ends up hurting you or giving you some kind of STD.
Also you are stopping yourself from having the opportunity to meet a decent guy that may want a serious relationship with you.
If its OK for him to sleep with you no strings attached imagine how many other people he could be doing it too.
To me its all or nothing and only give yourself to someone who deserves you.

Wow thats def. a Dont. you can't have a friends with benefits with an ex that you care for. you obviously had feeling for this person and well they might like the idea but for your sake it will only hurt you cuz you may fall for him again and start getting emotionally attached. than when it comes to the point of dating other ppl your gonna be left with some jealousy because you want the attention there giving that girl. It might even get to the point that in your other relationships you might find yourselves coming back to eachother for the sex causing uneeded drama in your life! Trust me I learned from expierence!!!

Been there. Done that. The benefits were great a while. But eventually she left for older wealthier guys. Think of it this way - it's better than maybe hooking up with a psycho! :-)

i did it we got back together maybe 6 times finally went our own ways she has twins i have a wife and a little girl but theres always those times where i wish i could be with her and i hear the sam about her but i know it wouldnt work so i moved on

One person always wants more than the other. Also, it's really, really, really hard to meet someone right when you're wasting time with someone you know is wrong. Cut it clean and declare it o.v.e.r. and find someone else.
