Seriously she breaks into a house, eats food she has not been offered. Really are we reading this garbarge to our kids!?

Yes, but bear in mind the time in which the story was written. It was perfectly acceptable to invite yourself in to someone's house in that era.
Preface the story with "Once upon a time... about 50 years ago....there were three bears."

yea well if u want to put it dat way then its true. Im not saying that it isn't , it isn't acxtually a good thing to teach kids and stuff to break into houses and eat peoples food and take all thier stuf.

Its actually a good lesson for the kids not to break into someone's house and how to react when someone does.
