They are not Christians.
1. They believe that all those who are going to Heaven (the 144,000) have already been chosen and no one else is going.
2. They do not believe in the Trinity.
3. They believe Jesus was created being.
4. They believe they will become like God or become "a god."
5. They believe Hell is not eternal.
If you MAKE UP a god, and call him Christ, and He is NOT the god talked about in the Bible, you are worshiping an IDOL.
And many will come on the day of judgment and say Lord, Lord, but we prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name,
and the Lord will say, DEPART, for I did not know you.

To answer your question, you have to know what a true Christian is.
A true Christian believes that Jesus is the Son of God, the Christ, the Way to the Father.
A true Christian follows and believes in the Bible as the Word of God.
A true Christian believes that Jesus' Father is Jehovah and he is the true God (John 17:3, Psalms 83:18)
A true Christian preaches and excercises faith on Christ, and the Father (John 17:26, John 3:16)
True Christians have faith in Jesus and his Father(John 14)
True Christians make Our Father’s name known so that the love of Christ be with them & Jesus be with those who showed faith (John 17:26)
Their form of worship is clean and undefiled and their teachings have no pagan roots (James 1:27).
True Christians are no part of the world (John 15:19)
True Christians believe that their salvation is from the Father and from the Son (Rev 7:10)
True Christians do the will of the Father, Jehovah as Jesus commanded in Mat 7:21
True Christians magnify Jehovah's name (Mat 6:9)
True Christians’ warfare is not of the flesh (2 Cor 10:3,4)
True Christians believe that we have to be in subjection to the existing human governments because they act as ministers also for our own good (Romans 13)
True Christians have love among themselves so they don't kill each other during times of war and distress (John 13:35)
True Christians bear good fruits (Mat 7:17-20)
True Chrisitians love God’s commandments and follow them (1 John 2)
True Christians preach about God’s kingdom.(Mat 28)
and many more…
Who among the existing religions show that? Jehovah's Witnesses fit those descriptions.

I believe Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians because they follow Jehovah and his Son, Jesus Christ. Of course, Jehovah's Witnesses love and respect and honor Christ. So they're Christians. Period.
Being Christian means you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of [Jehovah] God.

They are counterfiet. They claim that their organization is the only true Christian Church.
Counterfeit Christianity is probably the best description I can give for a cult. Counterfeit Christianity is an imitation of real Christianity. Bible terms like "Jesus Christ, Resurrection, Salvation, and Atonement" are used by the Cult, but the various cult groups have assigned entirely different meanings to these terms.
Like counterfeit money which is sometimes difficult to detect, so it is difficult to detect counterfeit Christianity, since it looks like the real thing. Experts examining counterfeit money often hold it up to a strong light and look for identifying marks. Counterfeit Christianity also has identifying marks, which can be seen when, held up to an even stronger light, the light of God's word, the bible.
We are at an advantage if we know what to expect from a cult. Cultists are very well trained to appear "Christian", and indeed believe they are the true churches, and you need the deliverance! Therefore, be bold and ask the question, "do you believe the group you represent is the only true church on the face of the earth?"
If they reply that they are, or if they are evasive, making remarks like "Well, every church has a measure of truth but...", you have made an early detection of a Cultist.
Every true Christian, if asked the same question, regardless of his denomination, would reply that the true church is comprised of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, and HE (not some organization) is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE, (John 14:6). No legitimate denomination would claim that they alone and their members have salvation exclusively, but the cults (the counterfeits) do.

Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians.
Sadly, trinitarians repeatedly pretend that Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christian because trinitarians insist on an artificial, trinity-specific definition of the term "Christian" which excludes anyone who does not believe that Jesus is God Himself, rather than the Son of God. Interestingly, pagans in the first century pretended that Christ's followers were Atheists(!) because the Christians had a somewhat different idea from the pagans about the nature of God.
Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Both secular dictionaries and disinterested theologians acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion.
The Trinitarian arguments are intended to insult and demean Jehovah's Witnesses, rather than to give a Scripturally accurate understanding of the term "Christian".
In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all three times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"
(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.
(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”
(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name
So why do anti-Witnesses try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because anti-Witnesses recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

Not because they follow Jehovah not Jesus Christ. They are closer to Jews in belief than Christians. The word Christian means follower of Jesus CHRIST and they do not follow Jesus but Jehovah through Jesus, they say Jesus was just a man and the Holy Spirit is same as gravity, a force on earth.
The Bible teaches plainly all power and authority is Given to Jesus but they refuse to believe the Bible words and take JEHOVAH even thought that word was not imagined until the Dark Ages, before that JHVH was the word used for God but could not be said, so writers added the letters a-e-o so men could say this word J-e-H-o-V-a-H.
Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Now if Jesus name does save us where do Jehovah witnesses come up with Jehovah as being the name of God where by we are saved. And if God Jehovah is the one we should be bowing to why does the Bible say we must bow to Jesus; Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
They are not Christians because the do not believe in bowing to Jesus Christ or worshipping him. That's a fact
Oh and The Last Ent Wife I do not believe the trinity, this is a man made idea not said or taught by the Bible writers. Also hell is not eternal or Satan's children have eternal life along with God's children
Good job PAPA - you must be a Jehovah Witness or ex

I believe we are Christians as we, try, follow the teachings of Christ who in turn was following the teachings of his father Jehovah God.
BTW someone refered you to Mc,Gregor ministries. That site is um, odd. It has a how to help cult members listing. It includes Catholics and allot of other faiths that as far as I knew were not considered cults. One person was wrote on here(I think they said was from McGregor) that Hindus are cultists because they do not worship Christ. I thought that was kinda funny. Seems the word Cult is the current insult towards anything with a different belief system.

I think they are because they believe in Jesus Christ as their savior. They also try to imitate Christ and his diciples by going door to door and spreading the word.
And just for the record I'm not one, but I have family members that are.

What beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses set them apart as different from other religions?
(1) Bible: Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God, and instead of adhering to a creed based on human tradition, they hold to the Bible as the standard for all their beliefs.
(2) God: They worship Jehovah as the only true God and freely speak to others about him and his loving purposes toward mankind. Anyone who publicly witnesses about Jehovah is usually identified as belonging to the one group—“Jehovah’s Witnesses.”
(3) Jesus Christ: They believe, not that Jesus Christ is part of a Trinity, but that, as the Bible says, he is the Son of God, the first of God’s creations; that he had a prehuman existence and that his life was transferred from heaven to the womb of a virgin, Mary; that his perfect human life laid down in sacrifice makes possible salvation to eternal life for those who exercise faith; that Christ is actively ruling as King, with God-given authority over all the earth since 1914.
(4) God’s Kingdom: They believe that God’s Kingdom is the only hope for mankind; that it is a real government; that it will soon destroy the present wicked system of things, including all human governments, and that it will produce a new system in which righteousness will prevail.
(5) Heavenly life: They believe that 144,000 spirit-anointed Christians will share with Christ in his heavenly Kingdom, ruling as kings with him. They do not believe that heaven is the reward for everyone who is “good.”
(6) The earth: They believe that God’s original purpose for the earth will be fulfilled; that the earth will be completely populated by worshipers of Jehovah and that these will be able to enjoy eternal life in human perfection; that even the dead will be raised to an opportunity to share in these blessings.
(7) Death: They believe that the dead are conscious of absolutely nothing; that they are experiencing neither pain nor pleasure in some spirit realm; that they do not exist except in God’s memory, so hope for their future life lies in a resurrection from the dead.
(8) Last days: They believe that we are living now, since 1914, in the last days of this wicked system of things; that some who saw the events of 1914 will also see the complete destruction of the present wicked world; that lovers of righteousness will survive into a cleansed earth.
(9) Separate from the world: They earnestly endeavor to be no part of the world, as Jesus said would be true of his followers. They show genuine Christian love for their neighbors, but they do not share in the politics or the wars of any nation. They provide for the material needs of their families but shun the world’s avid pursuit of material things and personal fame and its excessive indulgence in pleasure.
(10) Apply Bible counsel: They believe that it is important to apply the counsel of God’s Word in everyday life now—at home, in school, in business, in their congregation. Regardless of a person’s past way of life, he may become one of Jehovah’s Witnesses if he abandons practices condemned by God’s Word and applies its godly counsel. But if anyone thereafter makes a practice of adultery, fornication, homosexuality, drug abuse, drunkenness, lying, or stealing, he will be disfellowshipped from the organization.
(The above list briefly states some outstanding beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses but by no means all the points on which their beliefs are different from those of other groups. Scriptural basis for the above beliefs can be found through the Index of this book.)
