The Wrong Way - Skipping Meals
People who starve themselves may make it through to the end of the week - and maybe even lose a pound or two - but most will end up suffering from health problems. Your body needs a certain number of calories each day to function properly. If you skip a meal to lose weight, then you may end up overeating at your next meal to make up for those missing calories.
I recommend eat small meals over the day and exercise more that will help you lose weight

Skipping meals causes your body to "Store" fat and calories due to the shock of the routine change.
4-5 small meals a day is better than 1 big meal also. Metabolism stays active while burning the calories. Low-fat and low calorie diets and exercise is the best way.
There is only 1 time proven method to weight loss, Less calories in, more out. Fad diets, pills and ect.. are more harm than help.
Less sugar, flour, oils and more walks, runs, swims.
There is a stew called "TJ's Miracle Diet" used by a hosplital for cardio patients that need to lose lots of weight quick.
it consist of "negative calorie foods", cabbage, onions, celery, and actully allows you to stuff yourself and lose weight.

Never skip meals!!! Eat smaller, healthier portions all day to keep your metabolism going. And if you absolutely must skip meals, don't skip breakfast, it is the most important meal of the day!!!

No skipping meals doesn't work as you blood sugar goes up and down from not having enough protein to help keep it level. You tend to eat more and feel worse from the yo yo effect of your blood sugar.

No you don't. In addition to slowing your metabolism, meal skipping encourages you to gorge at your next meal, ultimately eating more than you need to at one sitting.

you're only losing water and muscle, so then you'll look extra flabby. But yes because you'll have less calories. BUT you'll gain more weight because your body will act instinctively and go into stavation mode not understanding why it's not getting food regularly. You store more fat as a will to survive. It's just what everybody's body does.
