1.Jepthah's daughter was never offered a 'sacrifice',only to live her LIFE as a sacrifice. Judges 11.
2.Lot offered his daughters to the homosexuals and perverts of Sodom. Hardly God's "offering"
3. How many times did God warn the pharoah through Moses to "let my people go" before he took the firstborn? That wasn't offering, that was just and meted punishment for defiance.
4. Herod wanted to kill any 'coming King" that might overthrow him.. again, Herod's doing, an act of evil, not God's doing.
Why not concentrate on the offense of the cross? The most heinous death accorded a man; the bloodiest sacrifice of all?
Yet the ONLY way to bridge the gap between righteous God and fallen man was through God's PERFECT blood, in Jesus.
He was made to become sin for you, that you might become the righteousness of God IN him.

His daughter shouldn't have been burnt that was his choice not God's.
Lot was a lousy father, his fault not God's.
God gave them lots of time and warning, Old Testament God was pretty hard at times, it was a harsh land & time.
Herod's fault not God's.
I wish the first born haven't had suffered but it a way it was payback for all the babies killed when Moses was born and later Jesus. Moses was heartsick over this decision.

You are misinterpreting the story in Judges, PLEASE read it again. She was NOT sacrificed, she was given to God in sacrifice, meaning she lived her life in the temple.
When she goes to the hills to lament with her friends, read what it says. It doesn't say she is sorry because she's about to be killed, it says she's sorry because SHE WILL NEVER MARRY.
Second, Lot offered his daughters' virginity (NOT their lives) and it was NOT accepted. Lot KNEW the crowd wouldn't accept it.
Third, this was NOT a sacrifice to God.
Fourth, this was NOT a sacrifice to God, it was Herod's free will choice to murder those children, not the perfect will of God.

You forgot the most important sacrifice of all. Jesus made the sacrifice of His pain, sorrow, blood, and mortal life for us. He did so willingly and out of love. Don't leave that one out, as long as you're making a list.

God no longer requires sacrifices because Jesus became our perfect sacrefice. The Jews only used sacrifices because they were sinners. But since Jesus died for us he took away our sin and made us clean. See Hebrews 10 for more.
