Okay here is my question and THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT IS GOING ON WITH ME so please do not direct the answers for me but instead generalize the question as if it were happening to you.
The question is:
Would you rather have your partner cheat on you physically with another person that he/she never has met in their life and never will again meet?
OR
Would you rather have your partner have an emotional affair with someone who they bond emotionally but never had sexual incounter or nothing but they are emotionally attached to one another?
Personally for me my answer would be I rather have my man cheat on me with a one night stand than have him have emotions towards another women and fall in love with her with out ever having sex.
Please do not let my answer fog yours.

i think i would rather have my boyfriend or husband cheat on me with a one nite stand type of thing. because in the long run its kinda like she wasent anything but a piece of *** nothing more nothing less...but if he was to emotionally get attached to someone then it would hurt me because it would show that he cares for someone other then me and to care for someone takes alot. it means alot more too.... good question by the way!

I would have to say that I might be able to handle a one night stand better than an emotional affair. With sex, it literally comes and goes. With your emotions, that is something that if I am not able to have that emotional connection with my partner, then why is he still with me? I mean, lets be honest here! If I am not giving him what he needs emotionally, then I really don't deserve to be with him in the first place. So, if there is someone else out there who can give it to him, then by all means, go be with her. It will crush me, but I would much rather have him be happy! Because sometimes, sex is not enough. There has to be more than just the physical part of a relationship. It has to be ALL there...Hope this helps!

I think that we all lean on different people emotionally for things that we need at that point in time. Therefore, it would be a lot easier to accidently become emotionally attached to someone. I also think that if they feel this, but don't physically act on it, it shows that deep down they have a much deeper love for you.
Either would hurt a great deal, but the thought that your partner chose not to follow through physcially when he was tempted shows he has respect, and feelings for your. (even if at some point he thought he was in love with someone else. Chances are it was mearly lust)
I think if a man cheats on you on a one night stand it is showing such lack of respect. I don't think anyone who could do that could truly love you. It is just weak.
So..... Emotional affair for me. But I am not saying that it wouldn't hurt, and I would have a big hard look to see why he wasn't leaning on me.

I'd really rather neither of those things happened but if I had to choose, I'd say the emotional cheating would be harder to get over because she's shutting you out and sharing her deepest thoughts and feelings with someone else. Either way, she'd be history.

I cannot take either of the two, but having him cheat on me emotionally by having this certain bond with another female even without having physical intercourse would be more painful.

Once a guy cheats, whether it would be a one night stand or on emotional boundaries, shows that they are not faithful. The person that they are cheating on is losing out.

I would have to say I'd rather him sleep with someone, although I would hate it and yes I would want to kill him, I couldn't stand to see him actually fall in love with another woman, I believe that when you are with someone there is no possibility that you can allow yourself to love another soul, the way you love one person. It would be so much more hurtful if he or she fell in love with someone else, at least when they sleep with someone they feel terrible and can live with that forever, But when they fall for someone else that would be SO much more worse. I couldn't live with that. And nor could he.

Definitely the physical over the emotional. Physical, though its not right to do, would be easier to get over. Emotional? It would always be there simmering.....

I'ld have to agree with you i know personally that it breaks my heart seeing someone i love that is still in-love with someone else i know this personally.ild rather him cheat on me physically than knowing i give him all my love and i only get half in return..damnit now im crying...;*(

well they both emotional is a killer cause im going through it we got sapareted and when i found out bout it couldnt let it go. and physicall would b bad too i guess cause once u do it ull do it again those are my opinions bout this
