If a girl says yes to go out with you, lets say to get a drink, how do you know she just doesnt feel sorry for you? And if she goes on a 2nd date with you, does that confirm she likes you? I just want to know, is all. I'd rather be rejected than be lead on.

If she goes out on a second date with you, she either likes you, feels safe with you, or is trying to get to know you better. That is really what dating is all about, the getting to know each other part.
How do you feel about her? Do you know her well enough to really like her? Are you asking her out only because of her looks? Do you see a future together?
If you aren't the superficial type and just can't wait to find out what she is feeling, share your thoughts and maybe she will open up with hers in return. If she doesn't come out and tell you, give her a bit more time and then just ask outright. Chances are, if the dates are going well, she likes you.

Women are terrible hey...
I felt sorry for a few when I was dating too...
Just felt bad and couldn't say no...
You'll know if she's sincere or not if you cancel on her and she reacts in a very "hysterical" manner... Ok maybe not hysterical but if she sounds disappointed like she was really looking forward to go, then you know she likes you...
If she's ok with you cancelling, then you know she was just feeling sorry for you. That's when she has the "I don't really care" attitude, like she had something better to do anyway...
