Good question. At first, I was like "of course", but then it was hard to come up with actual instances.
While the Germans crippled British shipping with subs and beat Empire forces in many battles (e.g. France, Norway, Greece), this is not the same as outright occupation of land.
England was not occupied because Operation Sea Lion failed.
Ireland was not occupied because the German operation to instigate a revolt failed.
Gibraltar was not occupied because Spain wouldn't allow it.
Malta was not occupied because the Italians wouldn't go with it.
And so on. However, the Germans did occupy parts of the British Empire during WW2.
*Channel Islands like Jersey or Guernsey from 1940 to 1945.
*Parts of Egypt for some time in 1942.
*Parts of Iraq under Rashid Ali, in 1941.
The axis more generally had a little more luck, for example Singapore was occupied by the Japanese for large portions of the war.
Hope this helps.

Yes. Most notably, several British islands in the English Channel were occupied by the Germans after the fall of France in 1940. The Isles of Jersey and Guernsey remained in German occupation for many years .
