I've been told by many that cleaning your ears out everyday is bad..is it?

I've been told that too, but I find if I *don't* clean out my ears, I get more ear infections. I'd say do what works for you -- can't argue with success.

This may be a bit gross, but I find that cleaning my nostrils (by snorting a little water when I wash my face) has really cut down on sore throats and stuffy noses.

The flu shot has also been amazing for helping my immune system fight colds in general. I know, it's supposed to be only for "flu" but it seems to work for me -- and I've read in women's magazines that other women feel the same way.

Actually it is bad, but it makes you more prone to ear infections, not colds.

By cleaning you're ears you could be compressing the wax buildup.
