An ISO file is a CDROM image. If you want to use it, You'll have to use some sort of CD-Burning program to burn it to a CDR, then play it from there.

you're saying you couldn't get it to burn? or you burned it and can't get the game to load?

well nero can handle iso's for sure but it's much easier to mount it to a virtual drive. Alcohol 120% can do that as well as daemon tools.

Check the file size and make sure you got a full disc image...should be no less than 600MB unless it's like disc 4 in a series. Sometimes newbies don't actually download what they think they download so I just put that out there.

If it's in ISO or IMG format it's a pretty straight shot for burning or mounting. If it's in a .bin format then most software will look for a cue sheet to load it up. Cue sheet isn't actually necessary so just use the "all files" when selecting the image.

Once you get it burned there's usually a crack folder on one of the discs. If it's a decent game rip it will have a .nfo file with the info on the game and serial number to install. (use notpad to open it)
There will also be an exe crack included. After you get the game installed replace the original exe that launches the program with the new one provided.
Some of the newer games can be more complex than that and actually require burning or mounting a mini disc image to get around the cd check. If this is the case, you'll get pretty specific instructions in the nfo file in the crack folder.
