Suppose you were a big fan of a musical band - there were two main stars in this band - the lead singer & the keyboard player, both of them are brothers. The singer is a tall and handsome guy and he sings with so much passion that gets cheers from all the fans – and you are like totally attracted to him & eventually you both meet and fall in love. You get to know that not only is he the lead singer, but also the music composer & lyricist, wow! The chemistry between you two is increased tenfold & you both pursue a serious relationship.
Now, this guy's brother - the keyboard player is kinda ugly and a bit fat; but a very good guy at heart. He has deep feelings for you, but decides to keep away from you and not to get involved in your matters, as you’re dating his brother. But one day, by chance you meet this brother, & strike up a friendly conversation. Everything goes well until all of a sudden you get shocking news………
The main person responsible for the working & success of the band was not your bf, but the brother! The brother was the guy responsible who composed all the songs, wrote the lyrics & even arranged the vocalist for the songs!!! Your bf didn’t do anything; he was merely lip-syncing with the vocalist behind the scenes because his voice was terrible! The reason your bf was even in the band in the first place is because he was his brother. You come to the realization – your bf is a cheat! He just lied to you about himself being so great, just because he wanted to love you. And needless to say the brother is heart-stricken with disappointment as well.
In this situation what would you do next?
1.Dump your boyfriend immediately because he lied to you & then get away from both of them.
2.Calm down and still stick with your bf, realizing it’s too late – you have already given your heart away to him.
3.Dump your boyfriend immediately, but after a period of time start dating his brother, as he is very talented and good-natured.

It would have to be number one, because I wouldn't have given my heart to him. He lied about most everything, my heart was never really his, right?...as for #3, there's no way I'd ever date the brother of an ex, or the friend of an ex, or the relative of an ex. That's against the rules..

You don't want to stay with a boyfriend who lied to you like this. His is obviously a fake and not worth taking a chance on.
You don't want to turn around later on and start dating the good guy. They are still brothers and it's best not to get between them in any way. Besides, I'm not sure it wouldn't be a pity date if you don't have any real feelings toward him. And he sure wouldn't want you to date him out of pity.

What happened to the fact that YOU were the one who was madly inlove with the lead singer, his fame, public image.........
NOT TO MENTION THE GREAT CHEMISTRY!!!
Your relatioinship was built on your admirmation of this person being in a band. AND then you have great chemistry yada, yada.!
So, who cares if he lip sings the songs, or his brother is fat.
YOU Fell in LOVE with the ILLUSION!!!
So, do you want the Illusion or the real thing.
That's the question!
I would follow my heart.
I wouldn't date my x's brother!

she is spending too much alone time with the brother. So what he lied to impress you. Forgive and move on. The thing people wants most for others is forgiveness. Give it to them. God gave it to you. You have made mistakes before and want to be forgiven. So move on, and forget about. encourage the bf to work on reconcilation with his brother, if that is he recognizes that he made a mistake.

it really depend on all that going on. if the brothers have made
it clear about how they want the band to play one that does
everything might want his brother in the spot light and he
behind he scence. but as for you if you really like the brother
then that all that matter. he may not have lied to you. they
'may have already had the problem solved. but if you looking]
for a way out because you starting to like the other brother
then that all together different. but only you know how you really
feel.

it looks like #3 is a go. look @ it this way, your bf's brother is the one w/ all the wonderful qualities you fell in love w/. he is only lacking in the physical department. also, he is the one who seems to genuinely like u. it may cause trouble between the 2 brothers though so be careful.

I would chose number 1. Its not right that he lied, and its not right to cheat with his brother. I would get totally away from the relationship and/or friendships of all involved..

4. Confront the b/f and if he comes clean talk it out. If not, dump him and at least be friends with the brother, cause he seems great.
