We all know about the Muslim extremists so I will move on to Christian extremists. It was only less than a century ago in which blacks were lynched and crucified by white americans who used christianity as the justification of their actions. I feel as if this type of mentality is partly responsible for our ignorance to equality and peace. Will there ever be a religious compromise?

I am a Christian. I am embarrassed and deeply sadden by what people have done in the name of Christ.

I do not believe there will ever be a religious compromise. As long as there is Truth to be sought and found. As long as there is a Devil to decieve, lie, and steal. There will not be a religious compromise until Jesus Returns. But for so many it will be too late, but as he returns everyone will clearly see him as Lord and every knee will bow!

This is the problem. But it is not a religion problem. It is a developmental problem. The same types of person that are drawn to fundamentalist religious practices all have the same arrested development. What they all need is to evolve to the next stage of metal development. That is the problem. They are all stuck in a Latency age mentally. A black and white mentality.

True bible believing christians don't go around killing people.
Thou shalt not kill.
The type of mentality you are talking about is just plain wickedness and sin.

Revelation prophesies the desctruction of religion. Jesus said he will reject many that call on his name. Christendom is just as bloodguilty if not more than other religions.
