I seen something like this happen on "South Park". I believe the phenomenon is known as "Spooky Vision". Sadly, you might as well kiss your *** goodbye.

This same thing would happen to someone I knew whenever they went under a certain STOP LIGHT! I don't know the answer, but don't be too weirded out by it. It might be something to do with the electrical components of your car and the light. The hurse thing is just a coincidence.

I've read only one article about this and I wish I kept it because it happens to me. When I dirivng down the road, there will be a whole bunch of street lamps, and only one will go out (if it was my headlgiths, wouldn't they all flicker?). Or I'll look up at a billboard and the light will go out. On my college campus, any time I walked in front of this one building, the light would go on if it was off, or off if it was on.
I think there is something to it. We all generate some kind of electro-magnetic field, maybe some are different or stronger? Who knows? But it is weird once you notice it.

This happens to me whenever I walk down the High Street of my home town.
My housemate says it's because I have no soul.
I say it's becuase the electrics in the street lights are dodgy and they go on and off all the time, but I tend to notice it more than she does, and point it out, hence her thinking it's me doing it.
(Secretly I like her explanation better!)

How many streetlights do you suppose you drive under on average. They do burn out you know. If you drive very far at all in a city you are going to drive under hundreds of streetlights, odds are one of them is going to burn out at just the right time.

There are people who for some reason had an effect on electric things, they make computers and phones act weird. They make lights go out. I can't remember the name but go to a site that deals with the paranormal.

Yeah it;s nothing supernatural, its the headlights making the photocell for the light think its daylight. Its also timing since they start to go bad and go on and off from time to time.

I have had that happen often.
How many times do you look at the clock and it is 11:11?
