what if you made a small amount of money and you have three children how much will your eic be?

I had just started working towards the end of the year and I have friends that have one child but i think because of the salary she makes that is why she recieves that much or is she lying?

It depends on your earned income. There's a table in the 1040 instruction book that shows the EIC. It depends on filing status, earned income, and number of children (zero, one, or more than one).
