It's not a religion; it's a philosophical stance. It's the viewpoint that the truth about God or gods and/or the supernatural is not known, or cannot be known.

There are different sorts of agnostics. Basically, I think of myself as an atheist, simply not believing in gods. Truth is, I don't believe in gods and find so much of various religions to be garbage. However, the truth is, I can't prove there are no gods. Of course, I have no desire to do so - let theists (or god) prove the existence of god. So, in the sense that I don't definitively know, I'm an agnostic. With respect to whether I believe in a god or not, I'm an atheist. It's really just words.

Peace!
I think you can call Buddhism as agnostic. They do not believe in a Supreme Being but do not rule out the possibility that there might be one.

Agnostic people do not subscribe to theist OR atheist beliefs. They are 'on the fence' about the existence of god(s).

Agnostic is not a religion

Agnostic means one does not deny the existence of God and heaven but holds that one cannot know for certain whether or not they exist.

It's like someone that has stopped subscribing to a magazine because the articles were useless but they won't mind renewing it later on if the magazine turned out to be of value.

It's not a religion.

We are unconvinced and/or noncommital about the existence of god/gods/deities and other such religious matter.

I kinda think more on the its possible but not probable degree when it comes to a supreme higher being.

Listen: first of all god exists because i believe in him is a terrible arguement. there is no rational proof for the existence of god, and agnostics are looking for exactly that. A true agnostic is one who wants to believe but wants rational proof of existence. A true believer realizes that there is no rational proof of the existence of god but believes anyways

Don't think I've heard of this stance on belief being equated to any specific religion thank goodness but is free to go where it may .Fence sitting is well thought of in politics where they try for middle of the road to get votes.
