(Sorry, I worded this wrong last time)
If someone dislikes only Christians who believe everyone else goes to hell and their way is the only way, but is fine with Christians who don't believe that, is that bigotry?
I feel it is less about religion, and more about the choice a person makes to actively believe they have the only spiritual answer. Again, the dislike is only directed toward those certain Christians, not all Christians.
What do you all think?

My question is: Is the non-Christian who thinks that way a bigot?

Yes CC, I'm asking if you are a bigot for prefering person B, and disliking person A.

Perhaps I can explain it like this...
I'm Wiccan. In my tradition we believe you have to be intiated. We believe in sacred sex as a means of intitiation. We practice our rituals skyclad. People like Dana S and Raven Fuqfest are almost identical to what I believe. There are people who think you can read a book by Scott Cunningham and poof, you're a Wiccan. People like us wouldn't consider people like them Wiccans. It isn't because we do it to be mean, it's just the way we believe.
Since you're not a Christian anyway, don't worry about what they think. I learned that a good way to be happy is not to worry about what every other religion thinks in the world.

No it's not bigotry, it's called being discerning. I mean come on, who is really going to like someone who tries to bully you into thinking the way they do. I'd actually think you were a bit weird if you did like people that act that way. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that if you feel this way, you're not being a bigot, you just don't like jerks.

It is typical to attack the messenger when one doesn't particularly like the message.
You have a particular disease that there is only ONE cure for; yet you will argue against the disease, rail against those who would point out the cure, say the cure doesn't exist or isn't the right one and then rally others to believe as you do.
Denial is a big river I refuse to swim in.
My way isn't the way; the ONE you argue with is Jesus who said " I AM THE WAY.."
He also said :
Mat 7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Narrow and straight, eh.. Since God is no respecter of persons, I'd get to seeking that way if indeed I wanted to find it.

It's more of an opinion on who they think they will get along with.
Myself I guess I am a bit bigoted (if extremely iritated at counts lol) towards people like Jerry Falwell types who blast the airwaves with blame and hellfire for everyone who doesn't agree with them.
I could care less what others like that think ( i.e. who believe some of the same hell fire stuff as Falwell). I would try to get along with them if they are nice people otherwise.

If you believe in your heart that eating a lot of junk foods cause osteoarthritis, and you tell someone to stop eating the junk and they don't, or they bigoted towards you .NO they make their own minds up. Christians simply believe what they do, simple.bigoted? you say.your a little bit different to say that .My parents and grandparents had love in there hearts. true honest to God love. never put down anyone at all .I never heard them Say a bad thing about anyone, and hear you come up with . they bigoted?, your the bigot for not realizing that different people have different beliefs. Jesus never taught a false dichotomy. Having faith in Him is the surest way to salvation, but only God knows the heart. Jesus separates the sheep from the goats in the afterlife, not Christians in the here and now. The Beatitudes are for everybody, not just religious.

Yes, I guess you could call such a person a bigot. Salvation is not for Christians alone. God wants all his children to be saved whether he believes in God or not. Religion does have its merits though, in helping us come to a better appreciation of who God is and what he can do for us.
God bless!

Some people would say you're a hypocrite, because you want to exclude Christians, therefore showing bigotry against that group.
All white light religions are boigotry and hypocrisy. That's my take on it.

Bigotry? Not sure. Ignorance? Yes!
I'm personally sick and tired of certain people believing ~they~ have a monopoly on the truth. They refuse to admit it, but by their interpretations, words and judgements they are trying to play "God".
Yuck.

Who cares? The bottom line is the word of God. Any true Christian will tell what thus said the Lord and not lose a seconds sleep worrying about if some atheist/pagan/whatever don't like him. Think about it, these people don't like Jesus so I'd be silly to expect them to like me.
