To get your credit score, you will need to visit Equifax, Experian or Transunion and pay for it. Its around 10 - 15 bucks. Your 3 scores are combined for an average.
The free Annual Credit Report will NOT give you a credit score, just your credit report.

Beware of all the web sites offering a "free" credit report. Unless you go directly to Experian, Equifax, or TransUnion, you are signing up for a credit watch service, which may cost $79 or more per year. I believe the credit reporting agencies are still required by the government to give everyone one free report per year, no strings attached. If you are turned down for credit by anyone, you are also entitled to a free report within 30 days.

You have to go through one of the three credit bureaus and purchase something that gives you credit report. Even from Equifax, Experian, TransUnion you do have to pay to recieve your credit report. You will have to pay something $20 +/- and sign up for service to recieve your credit report.
The best one you should choose should be Equifax or Experian. TransUnion is not much of a credit reporting company. Good Luck.
You will not recieve your credit score from a free credit report. By law you can recieve one free credit report per yer; however, that doesn't entitle you to recieve a free credit score you actually have to pay to know that. Good Luck.
