Mormons in general do not dress like that, but missionaries do. Did you mean what's it like being a Mormon missionary?
But in response to both - great! I am a current member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a missionary in Guayaquil, Ecuador for 2 years. I will remember my mission for the rest of my life, and forever be grateful for the way it shaped my life. If you have any questions about the Mormon church, I highly suggest you take the opportunity to speak with those funny looking Mormon missionaries about their message - I think you'd be happy you did.
...and if they are wearing white socks with black shoes and dress slacks, go ahead and tell them they should switch to black socks.

You are describing mormon missionaries - or just neatly dressed folks with bicycles...
I LOVE being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is SO comforting, the knowledge of eternal family and all the blessings we have and can have in the next life. You will find that most of us are just normal people trying to live the gospel, we aren't weird or scary or cult-ish or controlled or anything like that.

No different really then being any other religion. Mormons come in every shape, size and look; most of the time you probably wouldn't even realize you were talking to a Mormon. What you describe are the missionaries, but they just do that for a couple years, exclusively.
